High Strung believes renting makes great
sense for beginners because you can rent an
instrument of better quality than most folks will
normally buy as their first instrument.

Renting an instrument from High Strung gives
you a way to "test out" a new instrument
without making a large purchase and
committment. And 100% of the rent you pay
can be used towards purchasing any new
fretted instrument in the shop.

Since we rent guitars, mandolins and banjos
(as well as harps and violins, but that's a
different part of the website...) you can try out
different types of instruments to see which
really calls out to you.

Some people use our rental program as a way
to save up for a really nice instrument. We can
make all sorts of arrangements with you
regarding rentals and installment payments.
Just ask.
