Cello Rental Pricing
The need for a decent instrument is vital with the cello—it’s such a big
instrument that any flaw is a *big* flaw and presents a *big* problem for the
student. We only rent quality cellos appropriate for students to learn and enjoy

Gold Rental - $60/month
Good to great sounding, well-setup, mostly European-made, with Helicore Strings.
Bows are either wood or Glasser fiberglass bows; padded bag included.
Silver Rental - $50/Month
Good sounding, Chinese-made instruments, with Prelude strings. Glasser bow and
bag included.

Students need a decent instrument to ensure a good start. The old adage "you get what you pay for"
was never truer than on bowed instruments. A $300 cello is not a playable instrument and is an
impediment to learning. Don’t waste your money.
